Welcome I'm Oliver Parker and I'm asking for your vote on August 14th for Broward County Circuit Court Judge, Group 45. I believe that my 35 years as a practicing lawyer in Broward County, together with my ten years as Mayor of Lauderdale By The Sea, during which I presided over approximately 100 quasi-judicial proceedings, makes me the best-qualified candidate for this judgeship. The most important qualities that a judge should possess are a commitment to fairness and a willingness to listen to both sides with an open mind. During my 10 years as Mayor, I learned how to be a good listener. And over the course of my 35 years as a practicing attorney, I have witnessed first hand the importance of treating everyone fairly. I promise that if I am elected your Circuit Court Judge I will treat anyone who comes into my courtroom fairly and with the courtesy, dignity and respect to which everyone is entitled.
